Holiday Walk & Live Window Display (Downtown Forest Park, December 5th)
Take a stroll down Madison Street with the family in tow. Your eyes can revel in the creative live holiday displays and your taste buds can enjoy a marshmallow roast. Holiday Stroll (Elmwood Park, December 6th)
Enjoy a full day of holiday fun beginning at 9 a.m. at the Parks and Recreation Center. Begin your day with a filling pancake breakfast with Santa. Browse through the arts and craft vendors for all your holiday shopping needs. The little ones will love the free train rides and ice sculpture demonstrations. Winterfest (Downtown Oak Park, December 6th)
The kids will love Downtown Oak Park’s annual cookie walk! Make sure to keep a look out for special outdoor appearances by Saint Nicholas, Oak Park’s Heritage Chorale, Fenwick High School Choir, and the Dickensian Duo. Santa’s Coming To Winston Plaza (Melrose Park, December 6th)
Santa will arrive via helicopter at noon to the Winston Plaza. Event features sleigh rides, free giveaways, and Santa’s house. Enjoy numerous holiday activities including holiday crafts, face painting, and carolers. (www.melrosepark.org)
