Wisconsin Dells offering new attractions to lure tourists

by on July 6, 2014

As if being known as “The Waterpark Capital of the World” wasn’t enough, Wisconsin Dells has stepped things up a notch by adding several new attractions to lure tourists, as reported in the Star Tribune.

Paul Bunyan’s Northwoods Lumberjack Show, a 75-minute show that includes comedy, history, lumberjack skills and athletics, is just one of several new attractions that the Dells have added this year to boost tourism.

Along with the new show, the Dells has also added a haunted boat tour, a laser tag arena, and a 1,400-square-foot outdoor/indoor bar which patrons can swim up to for service. The final addition, slated to open in July at the Wilderness Hotel & Golf Resort, is a multiple-story indoor go-cart track.

If you are looking for a more peaceful experience while at the Dells, Sundara Inn & Spa offers spa treatments, a meditation walking trail, and a poolside tranquility garden.

Whether you choose to check out the new haunted boat tour or opt for the more serene spa experience, a trip to the Dells is a sure-fire way to have some fun this summer!
